My little woman-gamer happens to be as hardcore as I am if one can be hardcore at a game. Last I checked, people don't play games on burning computers (the only way I can see something as being hardcore is if it's on fire). Ironically she's also probably more apt to pull a 72 hr. gaming binge than I am (and I am).

In my experience, intelligent woman may not be into games, but they're open to trying new things. And a lot of them end up liking games. Maybe not really mainstream games, but it's hard not to enjoy playing Rock Band. Or Bejewelled... (crack cocaine. I'm serious.)
