I also had a power glove. self explanatory.

I beat FF7 - FF102 normally first, but then got gamesharks so I could get all the secrets and beat them faster later.

I cried when Aeris died in FF7. I also cried when I found out Raine had died in the present in FF8. And I wonder why Laguna did not tell Squall he was his father.... unless he never knew about Raine dying in childbirth.

those who use gamesharks on your RPG's , I applaud you.
Because to win it non-aided most of those things take a LOT OF TIME to beat It kills any hope you have of a social life. Which I tried to juggle.
After having had a short social life.. I regretted not spending more times on the games.
I hate people as well. I faked enjoying being social because it helped me to get some dates. Then I realized that quite a few regular folks have a habit of gossiping, and passing snap judgements on people for superficial resons so it turned me off.

I never could beat double dragon 3 on NES or double dragon 5 on SNES.
Had to play ninja gaiden 1 like 50 times to beat it on NES.

I still have yet to buy a PS2 or PS3 although I play at my cousins house.
I did something stupid and am in debt and got nothing for it.

I've played and BEATEN (Except FFXI, i don't think thats possible to "beat") every FF game including all the tactics, Crystal Chronicles, Crisis Core, and Before Crisis. AND the remakes of the old FF's for DS and PS1 and such.

Now for my confession.

1) The Final Fantasies I owe and play(ed) are, in order of appearance, FFVIII, FFX-2, FFXI, FFX, FFXII, FFIX, and FFVII, with FFCC and FFTA somewhere between X-2 and XI. I also tried my hands at the first FF.

2) Of those FF games, the only ones I've finished are VIII, CC and X-2.

3) Most of the games I have are either unfinished, or a game without a story line.

4) First game I ever finished was FFX-2. It was just that easy to play.

5) My first console was the Sega Megadrive, and I got it a year before they stopped selling games for it.

6) In reversed chronologial order of buying/getting them, here are my consoles: PSP (2008), Wii (2008), Nintendo DS (2007), PS2 (2004, autumn), GBA (2004, spring), GameCube (2003, summer), PS1 (2003, spring, yes I fail XD;), Gameboy Color (1999, gift from parents), Sega Megadrive (mid 90s, bought second hand with pocket money).

7) I bought Egyptian God cards off Ebay.

I play WoW and love your blog.

I own over 40 PSone games and never finished a single one of them. Not a one. I used to work at a game store and would buy them to play on the metephorical "rainy day".

I hate Ryogo from Front Misson 3 so much that I colored his wanzer purple and sent him into a throng of enemy wanzers for the sole purpose of killing him.

I was one of the last kids on the block to get a NES. It took me 5 years after I bought the NES before I finally beat SMB. yeah, the first one.

I had an *ahem* interesting dream featuring The Bride of Pinbot when I was young. I don't know, either.

I have never owned a nintendo or sony system until I got my Wii, therefore never played the games that where on them(I had a spectrum, an amiga then went straight to pc).

Due to the previous confession i avoid the sequels to Final Fantasy, mario etc. But i did beat zelda twilight princess since the lack of good third party games.

I loved FFVIII... I've been trying to figure out how to get another copy (mine was misplaced when I went overseas) .. :( It actually irks me a bit when people go into how much they hate it...

Similarly, I had no system between NES and PS... and neither were mine, actually. The first system I bought for myself was the PS2. Then everything else.. >_< (PSP, DS, new computer, got a Wii for birthday...)

For the GH orange-button hater, try this if you haven't already.

Easy and medium get you used to a finger positioning that really doesn't work on hard/expert. Position your hand so that your fingers are resting on red-yellow-blue-orange with your index finger reaching to hit the green button, instead of green-red-yellow-blue with your pinky reaching for the orange button. It's bloody near impossible to actually hit the orange button with your pinky if you're still using the hand positioning from easy and medium.

One of my friends shared that little bit of wisdom with me and it did wonders. I'd never have thought of it on my own. (<_<)

I spent more than 24 hours trying to thaw out Zora's Domain in Ocarina of Time.

I've never played a FF before FFX yet I watched Advent Children almost as soon as it was released, in Japan.

I don't think I've beaten any mario games, at least not 100%.

The number of games I've bother to complete 100% could be counted on one hand or less.

I have never played FFXI but I still read this blog.

I broke into a cold sweat during the last boss fight of FFVIII my first time through. My brother came into the room and asked why I was breathing so heavy and I almost jumped out of my skin cause I was focused so hard on the fight that he just scared the crap right out of me.

I recently played through it again, and found the last boss fight much less... agonizing... but still, DAMN good game.

I can proudly say I DID finish SM3 like 5 times, even tho the final boss is kinda dissapointing.
I absolutely HATE FFVII but I love the VIII so damn much!!! I've never been able to finish it tho, that damn Ultimecia f-ed me up in her castle, but I'm giving it another try after a year of rest and this time I will defeat her MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

My confession? The only Final Fantasy game I've ever finished was 10.

Seriously.

FFVIII was my first Final Fantasy game and I just never got around to finishing it.

Same for FFVII. And even FFXII.

It's not that I didn't like the games. I loved them.

But I'd stop playing for a while, and then try to pick them back up again, and in the time I wasn't playing I managed to completely lose track of the story. I could still remember the general idea but a lot of the details escaped me and I'd have to start all over.

It's a never-ending cycle. =\

my confessions are simple:

I've read [GM]Dave's entire blog even a year after quitting FFXI, even during the brief period of WoW. (i don't play WoW, so [GM]Dave, get off my back... i play AoC and i have yet to hear any ill will towards that game. ... and before you do, i got one word for you that makes this game better than ffxi: boobies)

I suck at FFT

I never owned any of the newer handhelds... only the original gameboy and game gear.

I was a fan of the Tamagotchi.

and finally, i owned plush toys of Sonic the Hedgehog and Pikachu. I'm a male. I'm not gay. I need help though.
